KAI Panoramic train — Indonesia's first panoramic train

Discover Indonesia like never before with KAI Panoramic train — Indonesia's first panoramic train that offers spacious cabins with full window views for an unforgettable journey!

Gone are the days of having to squeeze into stuffy train cabins and missing out on the views outside. With KAI Panoramic train, you can now enjoy a unique travel experience with unparalleled comfort and convenience.

Indonesia recently launched its first panoramic train, a modern, convenience and luxurious way to travel around the country. The train offers travelers stunning views of Indonesia's diverse landscape from the comfort of their seat. It is equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and reclining seats.

The train is a great way to explore Indonesia's beautiful scenery in style and comfort. It is also an efficient form of transportation for those who want to avoid traffic jams and long lines at the airport. With its panoramic windows, passengers can take in all the sights without ever leaving their seat!

This Panoramic Train is an innovation from KAI Balai Yasa Surabaya Gubeng, which was introduced to the public in the KAI Anniversary series last September 2022.

The carrying capacity of the Panoramic Train is 38 seats, and there is a mini pantry to serve food provided by the Train Attendant Stewardess (TAP) officer.

On every trip, Panoramic Train customers will get a special service where they get snacks, food, drinks, and blankets for free and free wifi.

Passengers also enjoy Panoramic Train facilities including comfortable seats, remote-controlled window blinds, spacious toilets with automatic sensors, television on the end wall of the train, a special luggage rack in the corner of the train aisle and a panoramic view of the beautiful and pleasant scenery.

This is because the Panoramic Train has very large dimension windows on both sides and a glass roof extending from front to back that can be opened and closed automatically.

The Panoramic train will operate every Sunday with the Argo Wilis train departing from Surabaya Gubeng Station at 07.30 AM, arriving at Bandung Station at 03.25 PM with a travel time of 9 hours 55 minutes. The full schedule of Panoramic Train operations during February 2023 is on February 5, 12, 19, and 26, 2023.

Customers who want to use Panoramic Train can book Argo Wilis Panoramic Train tickets on the KAI Access application, KAI website, and all other official KAI sales channels.
